Walking
This is a beautiful area known for its milder climate and the quieter valleys of Ennerdale, Wasdale and Eskdale. The Pottery lies at the entrance to Wasdale, about three miles from Wastwater.
There are walks to suit all feet and inclinations and many have the most marvellous views. Scafell Pike, Great Gable, Bow Fell and Crinkle Crags are all accessible from the local valleys.
Dick is delighted to walk with those interested in this pastime and he has a Mountain Leadership Certificate.
