Have an afternoon out.... from Gosforth the whole of West Cumbria is easily accessible. Go down to the estuary at Ravenglass or visit Muncaster Castle with its renowned gardens. Towns such as Keswick and Windermere are within easy reach as are many other outstanding houses and gardens. Of course, the western lakes and hills are on our doorstep.
